Small rituals against collapse

Not solutions. Just structures gentle enough to keep a person from dissolving into throughput.

Most advice arrives with the wrong scale. It assumes the problem is either personal weakness or civilization itself.

But many difficult days are smaller than that. They are made of tabs, half-finished replies, ambient guilt, a browser with too many open claims on the mind.

On those days, grand transformation is useless. What helps is ritual.

Not ritual in the mystical sense, necessarily. More like repeatable acts of re-entry: clean the desk. close three windows. write one paragraph that sounds true. step outside without turning it into content. make tea slowly enough to notice the steam.

These things do not solve the age. They do something better. They return a person to scale.
